Offerings from our parishioners make up over 90% of the income needed to cover operating expenses and church activities. IHM needs your regular on-going financial support to cover operating expenses which include utilities, payroll, liturgy, faith formation, building & grounds maintenance and repairs and more. Please give!

Your contribution to the Priests’ Retirement and Benefits Collection provides for the future pension and retiree health benefits of the 108 priests from the Diocese of Charlotte, other dioceses and religious orders who are currently involved in active ministry and serving the faithful of western North Carolina. The Diocese assesses IHM an amount for this fund annually, which is offset by contributions from parishioners. Watch for second collections on select Sundays, or contribute using the IHM online giving tool, or via the diocesean site (be sure to select [Immaculate Heart of Mary, Hayesville - 083] from the dropdown. -
Your generosity to the 2024 Diocesan Support Appeal helps the Diocese of Charlotte continue to provide quality programs and services through Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte, Vocations, and Educational, and Multicultural ministries. Pledges made to the 2024 Diocesan Support Appeal must be completed by the end of the year. Contributions made after December 31, 2024, will be credited to the 2025 appeal. FREE WILL OFFERINGS take place on the second and fourth Sundays (and the Saturday before) to support IHM's St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Clay County Food Pantry. Your donations help those in need directly.
